Landing in Korea at 3 a.m. felt surreal. The streets were almost completely empty, lit only by bright streetlights that reflected softly on the quiet roads. Tall apartment buildings stood silently in the background, their windows glowing faintly in the night. The cold air and leafless trees made everything feel calm and still, very different from the busy cities Iām used to seeing during the day. Standing at the intersection, with traffic lights changing even though no cars were passing, it felt like the city was peacefully asleep. It was my first moment experiencing Korea, and despite the late hour, everything looked so clean and organized. The crosswalk lines, sidewalks, and street signs were perfectly arranged, giving the area a very neat and modern feeling. The quietness of the early morning made the experience even more memorable, as if I had the whole city to myself for a moment. Arriving at this time made my first impression of Korea feel calm, mysterious, and exciting at the same time.
